Creepy Hollow’s ‘FrankenFest’ music festival returns this weekend

It’s alive! Reanimated for its 2024 incarnation, Creepy Hollow’s “FrankenFest” returns this weekend for killer music, eerie attractions, haunted houses and spooky fun.

Freak Show Director Victoria Holmes says the music festival runs Friday to Sunday. “We have about 34 hours of music over the three days and a lot of bands.”

As of the end of August, there were 16 bands confirmed to take the “Franken-stage,” including Lethbridge’s Jolene Draper and the Inquisitive Few.

“We will also have camping that’s available. Our haunted mansion will be open for set hours throughout the three days. We’re going to have hearse rides,” Holmes notes.

Other attractions over the weekend include Boo’s Cemetery (or beer garden), the Forbidden Forest, custom handmade and food vendors plus a variety of macabre mayhem.

2024 marks the third instalment of “FrankenFest,” which is held near Warner.

“Stay for the fun and come for the scare if you dare,” says Holmes.

Tickets are available online at Eventbrite or for more information visit Creepy Hollow’s Facebook page.
