Get set to receive your 2025 property assessment notice

Property assessment notices are being mailed out in Lethbridge.

A property assessment is an estimate of the price your property might have sold for on the open market by a willing seller to a willing buyer as of July 1 of the previous year.

Officials note assessed values reflect the physical condition of the property as of December 31 the previous year.

The City says residential and commercial property owners signed up for eNotices should have received their 2025 notice by email at the address registered to their MyCity account.

If an assessment notice has not been received by Thursday, January 16, contact 311, or 403-320-3111 if you are calling from outside of Lethbridge. Owners can also see and reprint their notices by registering their property through the online MyCity service.

Any questions about property assessment can be sent to 311 staff or by email at [email protected].

If a property owner has met with an assessor from the City of Lethbridge and is still not satisfied with the assessed value of their property, a formal complaint can be filed before the appeal deadline.

Property owners have 60 days after the assessment notice date to make a complaint.

More information about appeals and the assessment process is available at the City of Lethbridge website.
