Ag Expo bringing the agriculture community together in Lethbridge

This year’s Vanee Farm Centre Inc Ag Expo is said to be an example of how almost every space of the Lethbridge and District Exhibition Agrifood Hub and Trade Centre can be used during an event.

According to Lethbridge and District Exhibition Acting CEO, Kim Gallucci, this year the annual event has been expanded, by not only using the space in the building but outside as well. He says this year during the event almost every space has been sold out.

“So we’re very pleased with that and very happy with the agricultural organizations coming to the table and the whole rural community, which is an exciting time for Lethbridge and the region to be together,” Gallucci says. “It’s expanding even more to different, maybe mini-conferences within it, where people talk about foliage and other things. So it really has become an ag-focused event at various levels, not just one.”

According to Gallucci the event itself is “at a whole other level” with a wide variety of area’s being showcased from seeds, to manufacturers and the retail sales of tractors or combines.

The event is happening from Wednesday, February 26th to Friday, February, 28th. More information can be found here.
