Police are investigating a single vehicle collision that sent a 20-year-old to the hospital with serious injuries.
According to Lethbridge Police Service officials, at around 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, officers were called to a collision along Scenic Drive South. The collision involved a Ford Mustang that is said to have struck a traffic light in the centre median. Both the Mustang and the traffic light were damaged in the collision. Police say the man behind the wheel was taken to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
According to police, poor road conditions and excessive speed are believed to be contributing factors, but the investigation is ongoing.
