Prior to working in radio, Stan was a managing editor and journalist for several southern Alberta newspapers and online publications for over 15 years. He was also a mobile DJ/host for over 20 years.

Motorcycle collision claims life of 70-year-old driver

On June 1, 2025, at approximately 5:30 p.m., Taber/Vauxhall RCMP, as well as EMS, responded to a report of a motorcycle which left the road on Highway 875, south of Range Road 141. Upon arrival, it was determined that the 70-year-old male driver of the motorcycle, a resident of Regina ,SK, was deceased.
