12th Annual Step n Stride

Every September, participants from across Alberta gather as one community and walk for Parkinson’s. Their incredible efforts have raised more than $3.8 million dollars to help support a better life for those living with and loving someone with Parkinson disease and Parkinson’s Plus Syndromes. This peer-to-peer fundraising event serves to celebrate the victories of people affected by PD and PD+, as well as raise the critical funds for our services, programs, advocacy efforts and research contributions. This year, our theme is Unshakeable. Whether you know and love someone with Parkinson disease or are diagnosed, you are Unshakeable, in your determination, resilience, support, and in many other ways. Our community is Unshakeable!

Come join us on September 7th at Henderson Lake Park, Kiwanis Picnic Shelter for our fun-filled, inclusive, family-friendly events! Share support, laughter, fresh air, great food, and entertainment while being part of the Parkinson’s community.
