Amateur Radio Field Day

Field day is an annual event held by the American Amateur Relay League and Radio Amateurs of Canada . It is a test of emergency communications and is held on the last weekend of June. This year local Amateurs will gather on all day on June26th and until noon June 27th at Dungarven Bed and Breakfast just south of Twin Butte on highway 6. The Southern Alberta Radio Club is sponsoring the event. Radios and antennas will be operational, and we cordially welcome the public to come out and see what amateur radio is all about.
