Chess Fest

Attention Chess Lovers:
The University of Lethbridge presents Chess-Fest Sunday, October 13th from 9am to 4pm at the Galt Musuem!
The morning will host a youth chess tournament (ages 8-18, registration still open) and in the afternoon there will be a light lunch available for purchase on site and a host of activities including life size chess, chess-related games, Building Brains Together, and more! In addition to this there will also be a “simultaneous” chess demonstration by a top-ranked player at 1:30pm. The event is completely free and open to the public. More information here.
