Reuse Rendezvous back for another year

One persons trash is another persons treasure will be the theme on May 13th, as Environment Lethbridge is holding its Reuse Rendezvous.

The event is a great way to help keep any gently used items from going to the landfill and instead go to someone who could use them.

Community members can leave out any items that are still suitable to reuse in front of their house and mark them with a free sign. Over the course of the day, residents are invited to venture around the neighbourhoods and help themselves to anything, free of charge.

Those looking to participate can register their location here, once registered, on May 13th residents place the items in front of their house and mark them as free, be sure to secure any and all items that are not part of the Reuse Rendezvous, residents are also encouraged to check out other locations. Any items that are unclaimed must be removed from the yard after 5 p.m.

The city will not be collecting any items that are left out.

The Reuse Rendezvous is happening Saturday, May 13th from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and more information can be found on the Environment Lethbridge website.
