LETHBRIDGE, AB. – It appears the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and restrictions impacting certain businesses has claimed a long-time Lethbridge night club.
The owners of the Sound Garden say the popular bar and dance club has permanently closed.
In a post of Facebook, the Sound Garden 21 Club says this is the end of an era thanking patrons for all the good times and memories.
The Sound Garden had been up and running for 20 years before it was closed in March 2020 when the pandemic forced the shut down of all large indoor gatherings.
Almost a year later and night clubs in Alberta are still not permitted to open.
