Pickleball anyone? City of Lethbridge looking for feedback on new courts

LETHBRIDGE, AB – The City of Lethbridge is looking for resident feedback on the construction of additional pickleball courts around the community.

Funding was approved by the last City Council to build six new courts in Legacy Park starting next year. As a cost savings measure, and to meet community needs, there is also the possibility of converting some tennis courts into pickleball courts.

The City estimates that retrofitting the tennis courts to accommodate pickleball would save between $150,000 and $200,000.

You can give your feedback in an online survey on the City of Lethbridge website which is open now until December 15th. You can find that survey here: Lethbridge Pickleball

Pickleball is said to be one of the fastest growing sports in North America.
