RCMP searching for Calgary man after truck found in ravine west of Brooks

RCMP are still looking for a Calgary man who they believe drove his truck into a ravine west of Brooks Friday evening.

Mounties say the truck travelled several kilometres through an open field, just off the Trans-Canada Highway, before it hit the ravine and became submerged in water.

25 year old Joseph Given is believed to have been driving the truck and remains missing.

Brooks and Bassano RCMP, as well as Brooks and Medicine Hat Fire Departments, conducted an extensive search of the area and weren’t able to locate him.

Anyone with information on the crash or Given’s whereabouts is asked to contact police.
