Taber police look for witnesses in two vehicle collision

Taber police are asking anyone who witnessed a collision on Sept. 28 to contact them. It happened around 3:35 p.m. at the intersection of Highway 3 and Highway 36 North.

An investigation found a tractor-trailer unit ran the red light and hit a pickup truck, which hit the meridian and rolled, ejecting the driver. The driver of the pickup was transferred to the Lethbridge hospital with undetermined injuries and police say both vehicles were significantly damaged.

Police say the investigation is ongoing and charges are pending. They are asking anyone with information on the crash to contact Taber Police Service.
