RCMP believe poor road conditions a factor in fatal Highway 5 crash

A 67-year-old Welling resident has died following a collision on Highway 5 and Township Road 72 yesterday.

Coaldale RCMP responded  to the two vehicle crash on Nov. 2, which closed down the highway for several hours. Police say a truck heading north struck a southbound semi and poor road conditions were believed to be a factor.

The incident is still under investigation.
