Lethbridge see an uptick in home sales in October: Alberta Real Estate Association

Lethbridge home sales saw a bump in October compared to the same month in 2022.

According to the Alberta Real Estate Association, 159 homes were sold in October, a 30 per cent year-over-year bump. One hundred and fourteen of the properties sold during the Halloween month were detached homes with an average price of $398,620. Across the board, the average price in Lethbridge was $348,513, nearly a six per cent uptick from last year. Though sales and prices were up, the city saw a decrease in the number of new homes on the market.

To date, this year, Lethbridge home sales and the number of listings put on the market are down compared to the same benchmark in 2022. The average price for the same time period as last year holding steady at $342,688.
