Guns, drugs seized following high risk incident in west Lethbridge

Three people have been arrested after a high risk incident on the city’s west side this week.

Lethbridge Police seized 13 firearms and a significant amount of drugs, including carfentanil, after searching a home along the 500 block of Columbia Boulevard. The investigation actually started Tuesday (Sept. 3 when a man was arrested on outstanding warrants.

That led officers to the west side home Thursday (Sept.5) where they found the guns along with drugs and what police say was evidence of a bicycle chop shop.

29 year old Adam Filipcic, 57 year old Albert Curtis, and 24 year old Barbara-Rose Christensen, all of Lethbridge, are facing a variety of charges.

Filipcic is facing four charges of trafficking firearms and being in possession of stolen property.

LPS say the investigation is ongoing.
