Lethbridge Police is looking for as many as 10 people who allegedly stole property after a break-and-enter at a downtown business overnight Tuesday.
Police say the initial break-in occurred at Cookie Crimes in the 300 block of 6 Street South around 1:30 a.m., after which two people entered the store. Throughout the night, the business’s CCTV cameras picked up another eight people entering the store before staff arrived shortly after 5 a.m.
More than $1,500 worth of ice cream and other property was stolen and damages to the business are estimated at $1,000.
Anyone with information about this incident, or who can help identify any of the 10 subjects is urged to contact police.
