Warm and very windy weather lately has forced a few southern Alberta municipalities to issue fire advisories.
Both the Town and MD of Pincher Creek as well as they County of Forty Mile issuing advisories today (Fri).
The fire hazard has jumped to potentially extreme is those areas as grasses have dried out very quickly with the current conditions.
Residents across the region are being reminded to use caution during chinook events when it comes to burning.
