Lethbridge and surrounding areas under snowfall warning

Lethbridge and the surrounding area are under a snowfall warning.

Environment Canada says Lethbridge could see 10 to 15 centimetres of snow on Monday. Officials note the snowfall is expected to reduce visibility to below 500 metres, so drivers are being advised to use caution. Strong wind gusts will further reduce visibility.

Environment Canada says the snowfall should end by Monday evening, with the highest amounts anticipated near the Cypress Hills area, at around 20 centimetres.

A list of all areas under the weather warning is on the Environment Canada website.

In Lethbridge, the forecast as of Monday morning calls for more snow on Thursday.
