County crews ready to plow through recent snowfall

Lethbridge County crews will be working through the weekend to manage heavy snowfall on county roads.

County officials said crews began operations at 5:30 a.m. Friday and will continue plowing and sanding hard-surface roads and subdivision routes Saturday and Sunday. Each division has a grader working on gravel roads to address deep drifts and improve drivability.

Drivers are urged to use extra caution and to stay back from snow-maintenance equipment.

Crews will monitor road and weather conditions throughout the weekend and adjust operations as needed.
