Interfaith Food Bank announces ‘Gift of Giving’ program

On some occasions, it can be difficult to find the perfect gift for a friend, co-worker, or a loved one. The Interfaith Food Bank has established a program that could help with that.

The Gift of Giving Program allows you to donate to the food bank in the name of someone else. Members of the food bank team will enclose a letter acknowledging the gift that you can mail or hand-deliver to your loved one.

HOBGOBLIN HOLDINGS

In lieu of Christmas gifts for their tenants this year, Hobgoblin Holdings has announced a contribution of $1,000 to the food bank. The company has requested that its tenants receive the credit for the gift.

Although the program is available for occasions year-round, officials hope this gift can inspire others to check out the Gift of Giving Program as an option for the holiday season.

Tenants with Hobgoblin Holdings include a variety of local businesses:

  • Sylvan Learning Centre
  • DK Beauty Systems
  • Dollarama
  • Surplus Furniture and Mattress Warehouse
