The Screen Test program will make a stop in Bow Island next month.
Eligible individuals aged 45 to 74 will be able to get a free screening mammogram, as the program’s mobile mammography trailer will be set up at the Bow Island Provincial Building on July 16 and 17. Screenings are available for free, but appointments are required.

A mammogram is an x-ray of the breast. Officials note they are the best way to find breast cancer early, at a time when treatment may work better.
