Bulls make a splash with new ‘Bull Shark’ jerseys

The Lethbridge Bulls will debut a new “Bull Shark” merchandise line and specialty jersey during their game Friday against the Swift Current 57’s.

The concept reflects the Bulls’ long-standing ties to the Henderson Lake area, where the club has played its home games at Spitz Stadium, formerly known as Henderson Stadium.

Bulls president Kevin Kvame said the design blends the team’s identity with the history of Henderson Lake, a landmark named after former Lethbridge mayor William Henderson.

“Bulls don’t survive particularly well in lakes, so bringing the ‘Bull Shark’ to life is our fun, creative way to let these two iconic Lethbridge elements coexist,” Kvame said.

“It’s a nod to our stadium’s history at Henderson Lake and a fresh, exciting look our fans are going to love.”

Players will wear the jerseys Friday when the Bulls host the Swift Current 57’s at Spitz Stadium. First pitch is scheduled for 7 p.m.

The jerseys feature the logo of Bridge Physiotherapy, Chiropractic & Massage, the team’s jersey sponsor for the promotion.

The Bulls said supplies will be limited, with jerseys available for purchase at the stadium or through custom orders.
