Lethbridge Trade & Convention Centre to host plenty of Whoop-Up Days fun

Whoop-Up Days returns with a wallop of family entertainment, spectacle, and fun for everyone Aug. 18-22.

The Lethbridge Trade and Convention Centre hosts a cavalcade of fair fare, wares, and wonders from the Marketplace to the Little Rodeo Pro, all included with Whoop-Up Days admission.

There will also be an Ag Showcase featuring The Fair Game, Honky Tonk Market, and the Lethbridge Historical Society will discuss historic elements of the fair and area.

The annual Pure Power Wrestling Hot Summer Night event will also return for its fourth instalment.

Director of Event Development for Excite Lethbridge Paul Kingsmith said every year the approach to Whoop-Up Days is to keep it fresh and exciting.

“I think guests will love the changes and additions we’ve made to our indoor programming this year, as the new shows and showcases highlight things that make southern Alberta great, including agriculture, rodeo and community groups,” he added.

In the Marketplace, there will be more than 80 booths with amazing gifts, clothes, and collectibles.

New this year, is the Honky Tonk Mareket from Calgary with a curated selection of vendors offering handcrafted treasures, vintage finds, and unique jewelry.

With the Rodeo Zone, learn about the sport, meet rodeo personalities and experience the excitement of rodeo in this one-of-a-kind immersive experience.

Kids aged 4-12 can try their hand at riding, roping and tying during the Little Rodeo Pro.

The southern Alberta community is at the heart of the Whoop-Up Days experience, and Excite Lethbridge is ensuring the organizations, not-for-profits and charities that make this community great are represented by offering free space in the Marketplace to local organizations.

Enhancing the vibrant atmosphere of Whoop-Up Days, buskers will offer live performances to spotlight local talent, promising a memorable experience for visitors and performers alike.

Catch buskers throughout the day in the Lethbridge Trade and Convention Centre.
