Police investigating alleged machete incident in west Lethbridge

Police in Lethbridge are investigating a weapons-related case on the west side of the city. 

The Lethbridge Police Service reported that at around 11 p.m. on Aug. 24, 2026, officers responded to a call about a group of men allegedly chasing people with a machete around the West Village Mall, located at 100 Columbia Boulevard West. 

Anyone with information is asked to contact the LPS at 403-328-4444 and reference file 26016873.
