Riverstone Dog Park to temporarily close for maintenance work

To complete maintenance work, the Riverstone Dog Park will be closed Wednesday to Friday this week.

According to the City of Lethbridge, rain incidents have caused ongoing washouts, damaging sections of the park surface.

Crews will repair these areas to help ensure the park remains safe and enjoyable for all users and their pets.

The dog park will reopen Saturday.

“However, a portion of the site will remain fenced off as an active work zone until Nov. 13, while additional restoration work is completed,” the City noted.

Weather permitting, the park should fully reopen Nov. 14.
