Police seize loaded weapons from Lethbridge home

A 35-year-old man is facing several charges after Lethbridge Police seized guns from a home in the city on Thursday.

Police say after an investigation by the Violent Crimes Unit, the home in the 100-block of Jerry Potts Boulevard West was searched, with authorities allegedly seized two loaded guns, along with ammunition and body armour.

Police say Craig Sweetgrass of Lethbridge is charged with possession of an offensive weapon dangerous to the public, careless use/storage of a firearm, and possession of a firearm while prohibited to do so, among others.
