Green cart open houses happening at City Hall

Residents looking for more information on the new green carts are invited to two public information sessions at Lethbridge City Hall.

As of Wednesday, more than 50 per cent of residents have received their green carts and final delivery of the green carts is slated to wrap up by Friday, May 12th, with the first round of collection set for May 16th.

The new green carts will be collected weekly until November and then changed to bi-weekly until April.

The city is encouraging residents to keep up to date on their collection dates by downloading the Lethbridge Loop app—this will also update residents about street sweeping and snow routes in their area.

The first open house is Saturday, May 6th from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and the second one will be on Tuesday, May 9th from 6 to 8 p.m. and will be at City Hall.
