Lethbridge County announces road closure during airshow

As the days draw nearer for the Lethbridge International Airshow, Lethbridge County is announcing that a portion of Township road 8-2 will be temporarily closed.

From 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on July 29th and 30th, Township Road 8-2 between Range Road 21-4 and 21-5 will be temporarily closed to assist in a smooth entrance and exit process as well as ensuring a clear access for emergency vehicles.

Residents that live on Range Road 21-5 are being asked to use Township Road 8-0 during the temporary closure over the weekend.

With traffic on Highway 5 expected to increase during the weekend, drivers are reminded to drive with care and expect some delays. Parking will be permitted in designated areas and is prohibited on County roads or in ditches.
