Lethbridge Police trying to identify suspect in mall purse theft

Lethbridge Police are trying to track down a suspect wanted in connection to the theft of a purse at Park Place Mall.

On the evening of September 17th, a woman left her purse at a table in the food court.

When she realized she’d left it behind, she returned to the food court but the purse was gone.

Video surveillance shows two younger women notice the unattended purse and one of them reach down and take it.

They were later seen with two younger children getting into a van in the west parking lot.

Anyone with information is asked to call Lethbridge Police.
