Satisfaction survey open to Coaldale residents until end of July

Residents in Coaldale are being asked to give their feedback on everything from quality of life to the town’s communication and engagement strategies.

The Community Satisfaction Survey is used to create a future dialogue between Coaldale Town Council and the community. The list of topics covered in this year’s survey includes town programs and services, finance and taxation and governance.

Mayor Jack Van Reign says council made the commitment to conduct the survey each year to hear directly from the people they serve, by helping council hear how the community would like them to prioritize projects, allocate resources, and plan for the future.

“As a Council, we are fully united in our belief that strong communities are built on strong
communication between local government and residents,” Van Rijn says. “Whether it’s a comment on service delivery, a suggestion for improvement, or a general reflection on life in Coaldale, every response matters and every voice helps shape our direction as a community. “

The survey is said to be concise and accessible with clear and consistent questions, making it a quick and easy process to complete. It also includes actionable insights to plan for future budgets and service deliveries.

“On behalf of Council, I encourage all residents to take a few minutes to complete the survey and play an active role in helping us move Coaldale forward.”

The survey is open from now until July 31st, with the results set to be presented to council in early September, ahead of budget deliberations and strategic planning sessions.

The survey can be found here.
