Two deaths linked to COVID outbreak at retirement community in Lethbridge

LETHBRIDGE, AB – Two deaths this week have been linked to a COVID-19 outbreak at a Lethbridge retirement community.

A woman in her 80’s died on Tuesday, Feb. 9 and a man in his 80’s died on Wednesday, Feb. 10.

Both were residents of The View on Scenic Drive north.

According to Alberta Health Services, both cases involved comorbidities.

The outbreak at The View was first confirmed in early January.

There have been 15 COVID deaths in Lethbridge since the onset of the pandemic.
