Online Q & A session to highlight experiences of Alberta’s first Black settlers

LETHBRIDGE, AB – You can get a glimpse of what life was like for some of the first Black settlers on the prairies with an upcoming virtual event.

In honour of February as Black History Month, the United Way of Lethbridge and South Western Alberta is hosting a special Q and A session with the film makers of the award winning documentary We are the Roots.

The film details the history of Black settlers in Alberta and their experiences.

You can register for the session on the Lethbridge United Way website where you can also submit questions to the panel.
