A southern Alberta Conservative MP is calling out Prime Minister Justin Trudeau for some of his government’s Summer Jobs funding recipients.
Foothills MP John Barlow is the Shadow Minister of Employment and Labour.
He says the Liberals are funding anti-oil and gas lobby organizations including the Dogwood Initiative, Tides Canada, West Coast Environmental Law, the Pembina Institute and the Sierra Club.
Barlow is calling on the federal government to revoke Summer Jobs funding to these organizations, saying it’s a slap in the face to the tens of thousands of Canadians who depend on Canada’s oil and gas sector for work.
