LETHBRIDGE COUNTY, AB – Like the City of Lethbridge and Town of Taber, Lethbridge County has said good-bye to mask wearing.
County Council has repealed its face-covering bylaw which was in place last December.
Even though mask wearing within the County is your choice, people and businesses are being asked to do still their part to curb the spread of COVID-19.
Reeve Lorne Hickey, meanwhile is asking everyone to continue to get vaccinated.
As of today, only 45% of eligible County residents have at least one dose and Hickey says that vaccination rate is much lower than other areas like the City of Lethbridge.
He’s encouraging all County residents to get a vaccine as soon as possible.
