Wind WARNING for southwest Alberta

LETHBRIDGE, AB – A very windy few days in the offing across southwest Alberta.

Environment Canada has issued wind warning for areas including Fort Macleod, Cardston, Waterton, Pincher Creek, Waterton, and the Crowsnest Pass.

Strong, damaging winds overnight tonight through Friday.

Strong westerly winds will develop overnight tonight and persist through the day on Thursday. Wind gusts up to 110 km/h can be expected.

High profile vehicles could be in danger of tipping over in cross winds.

Winds will moderate somewhat overnight on Thursday night, but are expected to strengthen again on Friday.
