Twenty-five firefighters from five stations responded to reports of a fire at a single-storey home in west Lethbridge Wednesday afternoon.
Lethbridge Fire and Emergency Services reported crews found heavy smoke and flames coming from the rear of the home, as firefighters quickly brought the fire under control.
One person was transported to the hospital for smoke inhalation. No firefighters were injured.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
