A fire advisory has been issued in Lethbridge County because of dry, windy and warm conditions.
“Although this is not a fire ban or restriction and active, approved fire permits are not cancelled, the county asks the public to use extra caution when burning. Permit holders are reminded that burning cannot take place when wind speeds are over 25 kilometres per hour. Do not hesitate to call 911 should your burn become uncontrollable,” reads a news release from the county.
The county says a fire ban could be put in place if conditions stay as they are.
