Prete runs for Coalhurst Town Council seat

Brody Prete believes Coalhurst is a highly resilient and cohesive community.

Prete is a candidate running for a seat on Coalhurst Town Council in the upcoming Municipal Election.

A resident of Coalhurst for the past 15 years, Prete aims to foster stronger community connections and strengthen collaborations with other communities, including Lethbridge.

The candidate has over 25 years of coaching experience, and over 20 years of leading teams, staff and projects of all sizes.

Prete has also sat on several boards, including school councils and school boards.

The Coalhurst resident says relying predominately on residential taxes is not an optimal strategy. “It’s imperative to foster the development of businesses within the town.”

As a municipality, Council must enhance its collaboration with local, provincial and federal governments. “These partnerships are essential for securing funding for vital projects without compromising our tax base.”

Demonstrating a strong commitment to the community and its members, Prete is a “highly dedicated individual.”

“I prioritize family values and endeavour to inspire others to adopt the same perspective,” Prete notes.
