Planned power outage for some residents south of Henderson Lake

A planned power outage Thursday morning will impact some Lethbridge residents south of Henderson Lake.

From approximately 9:30-10:30 a.m., City of Lethbridge crews will upgrade power lines along Henderson Lake Boulevard and 11 Avenue South, between South Parkside Drive and 29 Street South.

Approximately 110 properties in this area will be without power during this period.

If you are affected by this outage, please remember:

  • Garage doors will not work during a power outage. Park vehicles outside before the outage is scheduled to begin.
  • Treat intersections with non-functioning traffic lights as four-way stops.

Find out more about planned and unplanned power outages on the City’s online power outage map. This includes a map of the affected area, the number of residents within the affected area and estimated restoration times.
