A major donation from a late philanthropic southern Alberta couple has been announced by the Community Foundation of Lethbridge and Southwestern Alberta.
Charitable organizations in the region are set to benefit as the recipients of the Community Foundation of Lethbridge and Southwestern Alberta’s spring grants.
Several community groups and schools in southern Alberta will receive funding for local projects through a community benefit fund tied to a nearby wind development.
A $10,000 donation to Lethbridge Family Services will go toward food, housing assistance and youth programming for vulnerable newcomer families in the city.
