LETHBRIDGE, AB – The Lethbridge Hurricanes have traded 18 year old Zack Stringer to Regina.
The Lethbridge native has been with the organization for the past three years, having played 79 regular season games with the ‘Canes.
In return for Stringer, the Hurricanes will get the 10th overall selection in the 2021 WHL Prospects Draft this December.
“We’d like to thank Zack for his contributions to the Hurricanes organization,” says Hurricanes General Manager Peter Anholt. “He has been a part of our organization since he was 15 and contributed to our club on a night in, night out basis. We wish him all the best in Regina.”
Training camp is just around the corner, opening up on Sept. 9 at the ENMAX Centre.
Pre-Season is set to begin Friday, Sept. 17 when the ‘Canes welcome the Medicine Hat Tigers.
The Hurricanes begin the 2021-2022 regular season on Friday, Oct.1 against the Calgary Hitmen.
