LETHBRIDGE, AB – No injuries after a blaze tore through a garage on the city’s south side over the long weekend.
Firefighters were called out to the 1200 block of 4th Avenue South on Sunday afternoon. Crews arrived to find a single car garage on fire.
Some neighbouring homes were evacuated as a precaution.
The flames were quickly knocked down, however damage is pegged at between $80,000 and $120,000.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
