UPDATE: Coaldale RCMP say the person killed was an 80 year old woman from Lethbridge.
Police say an SUV lost control and entered the south ditch. The vehicle then travelled a short distance in the ditch prior to striking an embankment.

LETHBRIDGE COUNTY, AB – One person has been killed in a single vehicle crash between Lethbridge and Coaldale.
It happened around 6:00 am Tuesday in the Broxburn area, about two kilometres north of Highway 3.
Coaldale RCMP say the lone person inside the vehicle died at the scene along Township Road 92. No name has been released.
Mounties say weather is believed to have played a factor in the collision.
