Residents invited to share vision for Victoria Park neighbourhood

Lethbridge residents will have a chance to share their image for the Victoria Park neighbourhood. The city will hold in-person workshops for residents with a connection to the area, which will give them a chance to share how new development can shape the neighbourhood’s future.

“These workshops are part of the engagement approach to listen to and learn from the people who live, work, and visit within the Plan Area ahead of drafting any policies,” reads a news release from the city. “This follows on from engagement events already undertaken during the spring and summer.”

They will be held at the Navy League building at 1708 10 Ave, S on Nov. 14,15 and 16. Sessions will be available at 10 a.m., 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. each day and residents are required to register online to take part.

The workshops will explore historical background, demographics, local experiences and neighbourhood design preferences, with a goal to provide a long-term vision and policy guidance for the area, according to the city.

There will also be a chance to provide feedback online.
