The Park ‘N’ Bark dog park on the corner of Scenic Drive North and Strafford Drive North will be closed on Friday, May 12th for some turf maintenance.
The Parks & Cemeteries staff will be putting an organic treatment on to help improve the the health of the soil and for a stronger, more vibrant grass.
The product the staff will be using is natural and chemical-free, so its eco-friendly and safe for people, pets and any wildlife.
The dog park will reopen on Saturday, May 13th.
The various other dog parks in the city including Sceneic Drive Dog run, Peenaquim Park Off-Leash Area, Popson Park Off-Leash Area and the Riverstone Dog Park will be open, should residents need another place to take their dogs on Friday.
