Milk River Emergency Department closed until Tuesday evening

Alberta Health Services has announced that the Milk River Centre Emergency Department will be closed until Tuesday, May 30th at 5 p.m.

The closure is due to a lack of physician coverage and during said closure, nursing staff will remain on-site to provide care for long-term residents.

Any EMS calls will be rerouted to Lethbridge or Raymond during the closure.

AHS is reminding residents to call Health Link at 811 for help answering any non-emergency health-related questions and its available 24/7.
