Officers with the RCMP Southern Alberta District Crime Reduction Unit (SAD CRU) and Piikani RCMP conducted the search on June 15 as part of an ongoing drug trafficking investigation.

Police seized 101 grams of suspected fentanyl, 23 grams of suspected meth, four grams of suspect cocaine, an air soft gun and cash.

Nigel Lucan Big Weasel, a Piikani resident, is facing multiple charges including possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of a dangerous weapon and possession of property obtained by crime. He was remanded in custody with a court date scheduled for June 22 in Pincher Creek.

Brent Milo White Cow, another Piikani resident, is facing two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking. He was released from custody with a court appearance scheduled for August 3 in Pincher Creek.
