The 2nd Annual Wing Ding Wing Challenge with Streets Alive is happening at Nicholas Sheran Park on Saturday, June 24th.
The family friendly event is a way to raise awareness about Streets Alive Mission and the work they do to provide for the physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs of those in the community who are less fortunate and to empower them.
Along with the wing competition, there will be games, an obstacle course, some vendors, and a dunk tank.
Those looking to take part in the wing challenge do need to register and can do so on the Streets Alive website. Those who raise more than $40 in pledges will also get a shirt and the winner of the Wing Challenge will receive a prize donated by Save On Foods.
Funds raised will be going to the Trusteeship Program, Foot Fridays and the P.I.N Bank (People In Need).
The Wing Ding Wing Challenge happens Saturday, June 24th at Nicholas Sheran Park from noon to 5 p.m. with the challenge beginning at 2 pm.
