Parks and Playground Passport returns this summer

The Parks & Playground Passport has been brought back for summer ’23.

The scavenger hunt style activity will take community members throughout the various parks and playgrounds in the city and this summer, kids will have the opportunity to name the new reptile climber at one of the local playgrounds.

There are seven parks kids can go to, including Legacy Park, the Gyro Spray Park and Cottonwood Park, and once the passport has been filled out they can be dropped off at City Hall or emailed.

Once passports are submitted, residents will be entered into a draw to win prizes like family passes for swimming, skating, Fort Whoop-Up and Galt Museum and a Helen Schuler Nature Centre t-shirt.

Residents have until September 30th to complete the scavenger hunt and submit the passport.
